Today we’ll finish our two-part series on baptism and what it really means by discussing Noah and the flood. In part one, found here, we discussed baptism mainly from the New Testament. We saw how baptism has nothing to do with dunking your head in water. It is the process of ascending levels of consciousness, and we accomplish this in the mind, through meditation. The True Meaning of Baptism
Today we’re going to look at the true Biblical meaning of baptism, and were going to use a lot of scriptural stories to prove it that it doesn’t mean dunking your head under water. By the end of it all I’m fairly confident you’ll be a Biblical expert on the subject. This will be a two part series, using the New Testament for the first post and the Old Testament for the second post. [Read more…] about The True Meaning of Baptism
Part V: Section Two: The 7-Day Creation, The Flood, and The Birth of Christ
Illustration Left: The Dove, symbolic of the Holy Spirit, approaches the Grail to be Baptized. Note the three Holy Colours: Blue (Heaven), Scarlet (Sacrifice), and Purple (Royalty).
The 7-Day Creation has been a source of great confusion over the years. Some believe it to describe a literal week in which God created all things, but this interpretation appears quite irreconcilable with reality: for instance, plants cannot survive without light, yet we read that they were created before the Sun. Readers of a more progressive nature take it to mean Ages – God created all in Seven Ages, thousands of years, etc. This is likely done in response to the past 200yrs of scientific discovery, but also finds support in Scripture where we read that To God each day is like a thousand years, a thousand years like a day. But is this what was intended? [Read more…] about Part V: Section Two: The 7-Day Creation, The Flood, and The Birth of Christ
Fulfilling the Purpose of Life—Evolution through Happiness
1) How often is my entire physiology, small of back, inside thighs and eyes treated to stress-free non engagement, my mind to utter silence and respiratory system to minimal functioning?
2) How often do I enjoy a brain holiday: disengaged from psychological time and repetitive thought pattern work-outs?
3) How often does my mind enjoy a spell of inner sunshine out of the “fear-zone”?
4) What proportion of my happiness is derived naturally, other than from TV and mind stimulants? [Read more…] about Fulfilling the Purpose of Life—Evolution through Happiness
Hanging around, upside down
Have you ever seen a tree growing downward? If you’re familiar with Kabbalism then you have. This is probably common knowledge but yes, it’s the Tree of Life. It grows downward from The Source toward matter with the brain as it’s’ roots and the spine as the tree. Of course the opposite of this is that same tree growing up from matter toward The Source with the brain now being the branches/leaves. But the leaves haven’t blossomed – yet.
This is the meaning of the Creation of Adam painting with Adam and God reaching out to one another. It is also the bands of the Zodiac. The outer band, called the Great Platonic Year, is our Solar Systems’ orbit with the Sirius Star System. [Read more…] about Hanging around, upside down
The Truth Will Set You Free
Why are Christians getting so sick?
During my life I have been around many people whom I would classify hardcore Christians. I began to notice something in common with all of them – namely, that the more intense their Christian convictions, the more they suffered from disease, illness and psychological problems. I didn’t really put the connection together – until now. I don’t profess to know everything or be completely right about everything. This is simply what I’ve found through my research.
The Bible will impart truth but only if interpreted correctly – esoterically, celestially and personally. It is almost all symbolism, metaphor, myth and allegory. I say celestially due to the Hermetic axiom of “As Above, So Below” That’s why the Bible states there will be lights in the heavens and THOSE LIGHTS WILL BE FOR SIGNS, but that is a discussion for another time. Will the Esoteric Jesus Please Stand Up?
Many people have looked for a clear presentation of the esoteric Jesus in the Bible. He’s really not so hard to find. In fact, once the Biblical symbols are properly decoded he practically screams from the text! The reason the esoteric Jesus has remained veiled is because the church has lost the art of decoding these symbols. Over the next few posts we’ll resurrect that art as it relates to Jesus’ major life initiations: coming out of Egypt, his Baptism, transfiguration, crucifixion, resurrection and ascension. John is Your Prana, Jesus Your Kundalini
There have been many theories on what John the Baptist meant when he said:
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I…he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” (Matt. 3:11).
Of course the “he” that John the Baptist refers to is Jesus. But what’s he really talking about? Obviously he doesn’t mean literal “water” and “fire.” [Read more…] about John is Your Prana, Jesus Your Kundalini
The Crossing of the Red Sea and Baptism: It’s NOT about water!
You may be wondering why I am going to link baptism with the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. The answer is because both the Red Sea crossing and baptism represent one and the same thing, each of which has nothing to do with literal water.
The scripture makes this clear, and to try and say that the Bible actually supports dunking your body in water in order to bury the lower / sin nature of man is incorrect. Being dunked in water doesn’t change you. It can’t get rid of the sin nature. It simply makes you wet and is no different than swimming or taking a bath.
So did the Biblical authors have something else in mind when they spoke of baptism? Absolutely! They are speaking of something that truly has the power to renew your mind. Baptism actually represents a holy act that harbors and manifests the Christ nature within you! [Read more…] about The Crossing of the Red Sea and Baptism: It’s NOT about water!
