Why Did Jesus Get Angry or Preach Division?

Jesus throws money changers from templeWe’re all familiar with the docile Jesus who teaches us to turn the other cheek when someone persecute us. In Luke 6:29, Jesus tells his disciples:

“And unto him that slaps you on the cheek offer also your other cheek; and him that takes away your cloak forbid not to take your coat also.”

In that scripture, Jesus is teaching his disciples a higher way of acting and thinking in the face of violence and evil: we’re not to stoop to that level, but we are to conduct ourselves in a manner that incites love in the face of hatred. Jesus’ entire ministry offers such solutions to help change the world we live in. bibleThere are many misunderstandings about what the Old and New Testaments of the Bible truly represent, even among esoteric thought. This post will address these important compilations from a greater perspective, and what both mean in the Christian Bible.

Once we place these two compilations in context, you’re going to see that everything centers on the symbolic concept of “blood.” The Old Testament focuses on the shedding of blood with animals and the New Testament centers around the shedding of the “blood ­of Christ.” However, the meanings may not have anything to do with what you have been previously taught. The Fear of the Lord

sunriseWhat does it mean when the Bible admonishes us to fear the Lord? The Bible is filled with scriptures telling us to do this, so it behooves us to get to the bottom of its true meaning.

The Christian Church, even in all its diversifying beliefs and denominations, has progressed past the mentality of the Dark Ages, where fear was a powerful tool into subjugating the masses into following its rules so that one could attain salvation upon death. Now, it is commonly accepted that the Hebrew word for fear in so many scriptures carries the connotation of “reverence” and “respect” rather than the negative emotion that paralyzes the intellect and reforms the people into sheeple. While this progression is positive, it isn’t good enough. There is much more to understand as we move towards the grand finale of salvation, which sadly, is also grossly misunderstood by the majority of Christian thought. cosmic consciousness“Hindu” is said to be the oldest religion on the planet. As an avid student of the 5000 year old plus Bhagavad-Gita (Hindu Bible), let me quote the verse around which the entire Bhagavad-Gita is premised:

“The Vades’ concern are with the three gunas (forces of Nature). Be without the three gunas, O Arjuna, (you, me) freed from duality, ever firm in purity, independent of possessions, possessed of the Self.” : b.g. ch 2 v 45.

Merry Gnosis

journey of sunWhat kind of title is that? The answer to the title lies with the Sun. As I’m sure you have already guessed it has something to do with Christmas as well. From my last post I mentioned that the “mas” from Christmas is from the Egyptian “mes” which means birth so Christmas is the Christ Birth and “messiah” is the New Born god – us. From another post I mentioned that Gnosis is Enlightenment, Spiritual Transformation, and Christ Consciousness.  But how do all 3 (Sun, Christmas and Gnosis) fit together? One of the ways is through the Zodiac and is the story of the journey of our soul. There is a MP3 by Stephan Hoeller about this journey named “The Hymn of the Pearl” which I highly recommend. Can you guess what the Pearl is? In my view his version is very beautiful. There might be 1 or 2 things I don’t agree with but not everybody agrees with me either so just take what you want from any source and assemble the puzzle the best you can. 1) How often is my entire physiology, small of back, inside thighs and eyes treated to stress-free non engagement, my mind to utter silence and respiratory system to minimal functioning?

2) How often do I enjoy a brain holiday: disengaged from psychological time and repetitive thought pattern work-outs?

3) How often does my mind enjoy a spell of inner sunshine out of the “fear-zone”?

Astrological_signs_and_human_body_parts_14th_centuryHave you ever seen a tree growing downward? If you’re familiar with Kabbalism then you have. This is probably common knowledge but yes, it’s the Tree of Life. It grows downward from The Source toward matter with the brain as it’s’ roots and the spine as the tree. Of course the opposite of this is that same tree growing up from matter toward The Source with the brain now being the branches/leaves. But the leaves haven’t blossomed – yet.

Disciples and Jesus FishingMost of us are familiar with the scene in John chapter 21 where Jesus tells the disciples to cast their net on the right side of the boat to catch a bounty of fish. There’s a great deal of symbolic meaning here that I believe is missed. Be Ye Perfect

street-sign-141396_640“Be ye perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” — Matthew 5.48

This instructional scripture is referring to cleansing of generational and self-inflicted programming known as subconsciousness. The scripture is making the point : Be transformed within consciousness, through exposure to Pure Consciousness. It’s important to understand that we’re (finite mind) not perfecting anything, rather we’re surrendering lower-self ego, to that which is already perfect — Spirit : the Spirit perfects /heals when all mental struggle has ceased — it’s the inner struggle which is the problem, not the so-called problem. If the fish ceased struggling more then likely it would free itself from the hook.

Sun GodI am currently reading the New York Times Bestseller, The Secret History of the World, by Mark Booth. In the beginning of the book, he does a great job showing how ignorant our modern scholars can be when trying to explain what the ancients really believed spiritually. For example, in one passage he states that scholars like to believe the Egyptians actually worshipped the sun as a sentient being. This is silly. In parts 1 and 2 of this series we concluded that Paul’s own words from Galatians do not agree with the historical timeline of Acts. We also examined Massey’s reasoning for stating that Paul’s gospel had nothing to do with the literal, historical Christ of orthodoxy, but was rather the gospel of the mythical Christ birthed within through direct experience.
