Esoteric beliefs found an early foothold in Western civilization through the ancient Greek Gnostics. Since then, other esoteric beliefs have been trickling in from all over world, but one of them that has evaded our understanding until recent times are those of the Druze. Since the Middle Ages they have lived somewhat secretly in closed-off communities to prevent persecution. Today there are at least 1 million Druze on the planet. Some of them in the Middle East, especially in Syria [Read more…] about Esoteric Muslims: The Druze

Further Cracking the Symbolic Meaning of the Genesis Creation Account
I want to show you something pretty neat if you compare the Genesis creation account to one of my favorite creation myths from ancient Egypt. After a comparison I think you’ll agree that the Genesis account was definitely influenced by it. The similarities are astounding. What I hope you’ll notice is that both the Bible and ancient the Egyptians were trying to explain complicated aspects of consciousness, science, and physics through the same myth and allegory. The Esoteric Meaning of the Tetragrammaton
Western religion has a terribly inaccurate and limited view of the body, soul, and spirit. Such a view has led to the church’s failure to properly portray and instruct how we advance in the kingdom of God. Jesus plainly stated God’s kingdom was within us (Luke: 17:21), and Paul teaches us that God dwells within us. We are His temple. Thus both God and His kingdom are found within us, and are both one harmonious relationship.
But what does this mean. It’s easy to quote scripture and say that God and His kingdom are in us, but how are we to really grasp this concept.
Breaking down the esoteric meaning of the Tetragrammaton can help. [Read more…] about The Esoteric Meaning of the Tetragrammaton
The Sun God, Jesus, and Our Hearts
I am currently reading the New York Times Bestseller, The Secret History of the World, by Mark Booth. In the beginning of the book, he does a great job showing how ignorant our modern scholars can be when trying to explain what the ancients really believed spiritually. For example, in one passage he states that scholars like to believe the Egyptians actually worshipped the sun as a sentient being. This is silly. As Booth tells us Robert Temple’s commentary on texts by Aristotle, Strabo, and many other philosophers of the ancient world have clearly shown that they “…saw the sun as a sort of lens through which the spiritual influence of a god rayed from the spiritual into the earthly realms.” [Read more…] about The Sun God, Jesus, and Our Hearts
The Lord’s Prayer: The Essence of Divine, Cosmic Expression
This article opens with insight to the Lord’s Prayer, followed by “how to” on sex-energy transmutation, concluding with kundalini “birth.” Hang in!
The Apostles (representing our inner seeking mechanism) went to Jesus (representing the process to Christ consciousness) and said: “Master, teach us how to pray.”
“Life is a prayer” [Read more…] about The Lord’s Prayer: The Essence of Divine, Cosmic Expression
The Biblical Meaning of Man’s Dominion over the Animals
People have long thought that the Bible’s creation story in Genesis is literal. Ancient Rabbis, learned scholars of the Hebrew language, have always taught us that those who fail to see beyond the literal stories miss out on the deeper spiritual meanings latent within the text. Those of us who are guilty of reading it with literal eyes only are missing a treasure-trove of knowledge put there to help man crawl from his low spiritual state. Who or What is God and Christ
In this article, we are going to address an age-old question that our scriptural and spiritual studies have often failed to answer for us, not because the answers are not there, but because until now, we have not been adequately equipped to decode the scriptures so that the answers become plain to us. That question is: Who or what is God and Christ? The answers are going to amaze you, as they did me ,because once again, the answers are incredibly [Read more…] about Who or What is God and Christ
Turning the Moon into the Sun
Ancient Alchemists taught that we must turn the moon into the sun. By moon, they meant our souls, and by sun, they meant the Christ. In other words, our souls must come to express the radiant Christ nature. This is what Paul meant when he said he travailed in birth until Christ be formed in you. We are to become a Christ, or anointed one, literally!

The Importance of the Words not Written in the Bible
When I was writing one of my previous articles on the relation between the serpent and the two olive trees, my attention was drawn to the fact that there is not only a hidden meaning in the words that make up the Bible stories, but also in what is NOT mentioned there.
Let us zoom in on the nachasj (the serpent) again.
Both Man (first Adam/Eve and later Adam and Eve) [Read more…] about The Importance of the Words not Written in the Bible
Does God exist? Is there consciousness outside of the body, or life after death?
The questions in the title of this post have always been asked by humanity. Spirituality and religion say yes to most of these questions, whereas science mostly denies it. For a long time matter was all that was real to science, although there are scientists who somehow manage to combine religion and science.
Science and spirituality are like mind and soul, [Read more…] about Does God exist? Is there consciousness outside of the body, or life after death?
Could God Really be Outside of his Creation?
Is it possible for God to really be an independent, outside observer of our universe, as some Theologians have long maintained? In religion, this view is known as transcendence. An opposing view is the idea of emmanence, which states that God is manifested in the material world. Personally I believe the philosophical concept of immanence is more correct, but I still think this religious idea falls short of helping us [Read more…] about Could God Really be Outside of his Creation?

Why Did Jesus Say To Hate Our Life?
In the Gospel of John, Jesus seems to teach us to hate our life. I quote that teaching below:
“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal” (John 12:25).
It seems a little counterintuitive, doesn’t it? Why would you need to hate your life in order to gain eternal life? After all, we are all here [Read more…] about Why Did Jesus Say To Hate Our Life?
