There is an interesting scripture in Matthew chapter 21 that contains a wonderful mystery about the Great Pyramid, the Christ within, and you! The revelation of this mystery is quite empowering to the soul. Sadly, this revelation remains elusive to the religiously-minded individual who places their trust in man-made doctrine instead of listening to the still small voice within, which is where we are told that truth comes from by the author of 1Kings 19:12 and Jesus in Luke 17:21. Did God Really Create Good and Evil?
Did God really create evil? This is the question I want to address in today’s post. It is a question that has plagued mankind since the beginning of our journey, and since it’s not going away anytime soon, I think it’s an honest question that deserves quite a bit of pondering.
The Bible emphatically states that God created evil.
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things” (Isaiah 45:7).
But what did the Biblical author mean by “evil?” I must caution you: there’s a lot more depth and breadth to this concept and verse than first meets the pondering mind. [Read more…] about Did God Really Create Good and Evil?
Enoch: The Pinnacle of Man’s Earthly Sojourn
Today I am going to discuss a very mysterious man from Genesis: Enoch. His legacy is so mysterious that the institutionalized church decided other sources concerning him should not be part of the official Biblical canon. This was a big mistake because a lot of spiritual wisdom and knowledge was lost to the masses because of that decision. We can’t blame them though—not long after the 1st century the literal interpretation of the Bible became so engrained in church leadership, they labeled anything they didn’t understand as “evil.” This is still happening today. But as we’ll soon see, the tracks leading us back to some of this ancient wisdom weren’t covered completely; clues in the official cannon are still there for us to discover today! The Bride of Christ, The Marriage Supper, and Meditation
The Bride of Christ and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb…what strange language used to describe Christians who are destined for a very special occurrence of cosmic proportions! But what does it all really mean? Could the language be symbolic for an event that might be a little closer to you than you might realize? For hundreds of years the true meaning of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb has been sacrificed by religiously-minded leaders; it is not an actual event that is going to happen in a far away majestic abode above the clouds—it’s a majestic occurrence that takes place between your ears, inside your head, or more specifically, inside your mind. Man Is Made in the Image of God
Many illuminations lie in Genesis, but few have seen the light; for centuries Biblical literalists have taught very shallow meanings for a book laden with so many esoteric—or “inner”— treasures. This is such a shame, because contained within Genesis are the answers to life’s greatest mysteries. Perhaps one of the greatest illuminations revealed in this book is the explanation of the relationship between man and god. It’s a lot closer than you can imagine. The Law vs. Grace: Is Either View Really Valid?
Paul is an interesting Bible character. His writings have stirred many interesting debates, especially between keepers of the law and those who live by grace. But the law vs. grace debate isn’t necessary. In fact, it has no bearing whatsoever on what was really meant by the writings of Paul or the commandment teachings of the Old Testament. Did Jesus Believe All Is One?
This week I want to revisit what can be a confusing topic: the fact that God is one. We can all say God is one, but do you really understand the implications? Failure to do so results in suffering for everyone. I already visited the oneness of God topic in another blog post, entitled, The Nature of God, but because of its monumental importance for mankind, I am going to address it again from a different scriptural angle. The Nature of God
If you truly want to get a glimpse into the nature of God, you need look no further than Exodus 3:14. Once you understand what this verse implies, it should become one of the most profound statements in the entire Bible to you, perhaps even changing the way you view life.
