KellsFol200rGeneolgyOfChristToday I am going to take you on a literal and symbolic journey covering over half of the Bible. I am going to show you how this journey is included in just the first chapter of the New Testament, Jesus’ birth record. We’ll start with Matthew 1:1. It reads:

“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham” (Matt. 1:1).

It is a register of births, which is mostly skipped over in church; at least, I cannot remember ever having heard it read during a church service. I suppose most people read it through privately, but did you ever see the significance of it? I certainly did not. At least not until I began to dig deeper. Worshipping God through the human spirit means conscious choice and action. Judgment DayThe “great and terrible day of the Lord” is a very misunderstood event. Sometimes called the “the day of Jesus Christ” and usually associated with the Great Tribulation, many believe it will be the end of our current world system because God will judge the wicked with great devastation before Christ reigns for a thousand years. One website in the top three spots on Google’s SERPS states that the day of the Lord will begin with the rapture, continue with a seven-year tribulation and thousand-year reign of Christ, and finally end with a new heaven and a new earth. separation of light and darknessAbout eight months ago I wrote a post entitled, The Sistine Chapel Ceiling: The Secret in Plain Site, about Michelangelo’s esoteric message within his painting, The Creation of Adam. In that painting Michelangelo conveys the idea that God is manifested through the human brain. It appears he has hidden similar esoteric messages within multiple paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Another painting which clearly portrays this same idea is called, The Separation of Light and Darkness. On this painting God is seen separating light from darkness with his outstretched hands and arms. But something is amiss: if you look closely at God’s neck, there are multiple unnatural bulges which appear completely out of place.
