We all use numbers constantly, no question about that. But numbers meant so much more to the ancients. Why?

First let me explain who I’m talking about when I say “ancients”.  I want to thank B.K. for bringing this to my attention.  I didn’t answer this very well so I’ll try better here.  We can choose any group, the Chinese, Hindu/Buddhists, Persians, Egyptians, Sumerians, Chaldeans, Mays, Nordics, Druids, Greeks, Polynesians, you name it, they all came up with the same symbols, myths, allegories, fables etc., yet they were all separated by distance, time and interests.
