Before I address the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, I decided it would be more beneficial to fast forward and write a piece on the esoteric meaning of the Ark of the Covenant. Doing so will give you more knowledge on how valuable it is to raise your consciousness.
First of all it is important to realize that Moses never constructed a golden box known as the Ark, and he didn’t converse with a separate omnipotent being above the Mercy seat. Rather these components of the Exodus narrative describe something that happens in your head on the way to your own Promised Land.
The true Ark of the Covenant rests atop your shoulders. More specifically, the Ark represents your brain. Even as Jesus was crucified at Golgotha (the place of the skull), representing part of the ascension process that takes place in your head, so too does the Ark. And in order to truly commune with God, that communion must take place within the confines of your mind. As we’ll soon see, communing with God has nothing to do with talking with a separate being. It has much more to do with becoming ONE with something much bigger than you!
As Jesus said stated:
“that all of them may be one , Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us…” (John 17:21).
How could the church preach the above verse any way but metaphysical?
Now let’s break down the image of the Ark. Two Cherubim’s faced each other on top of the lid. But what’s significant here is that the wings of the Cherubim are spread over the ark, covering and protecting what lies beneath. There is one on the left and one on the right. Now consider that your brain is made up of a left and right hemisphere. The covering of your brain is the cerebrum. So just as the Cherubim covered something significant inside the ark (the brain) so too does the left and right cerebrum cover some very important glands that serve as a link between our physical and spiritual natures. One such component is the pineal gland, also known as the third eye.
This is what Jesus referenced when he stated:
“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light” (Matt. 6:22).
As if the above information wasn’t enough, I am now going to give you plain scriptural information that will confirm that the ark is symbolic of the human brain. Consider that the stone tablets making up the Ten Commandments were placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. Now remember that the ark symbolizes the mind and brain.
The Ten Commandments are universal in nature. When one becomes enlightened, the Ten Commandments are realized and lived out from within. This is especially true after the awakening of the third eye, or pineal gland. Now consider the scripture below from Jeremiah:
“This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write in on their hearts” (Jeremiah 31:31)
The prophet Jeremiah is declaring that the law is meant to be in the mind and heart permanently, not something which should be obeyed from an external law book or outward code. This is about something that happens “within” you. Let’s also read the very next verse:
“No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me…” (Jeremiah 31:34).
Someone who has experienced enlightenment no longer serves the ego. The law was written for the ego, but the spiritual man who is not under the operation of the ego lives by grace (enlightenment / Christ consciousness.)
This is the entire reason the Ten Commandments were placed inside the Ark of the Covenant; it was to serve as a symbolic image of what was to truly be experienced by a true Israelite (spiritually enlightened person).
Let me take you back to the image of the Cherubim for a moment. Have you ever wondered why God placed Cherubim to the entrance of the Garden of Eden to protect it? If you have read my article on how Adam and Eve represent different aspects of consciousness, then you understand that the Garden of Eden wasn’t a literal place either. It’s a state of the mind. Since the cerebrum serves as a covering for the spiritual glands located underneath their covering, then it makes sense that God would place Cherubim to guard the entrance to Eden. In order for us to get back to Eden, we have to be awakened! We should also note that the Cherubim held a flaming sword. This fiery sword represents the logos, or cosmic energy that is responsible for awakening the third eye!
Do we find any imagery similar to this when talking about the Ark of the Covenant? Yes, we do! Consider the description given in the Bible when Moses talks to God above the mercy seat on the Ark of the Covenant:
“And there shall I meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim (cerebrum of the brain) which are upon the ark of the testimony…” (Exodus 25:22).
Now remember that the scripture says God is light. When God communes with us and the pineal gland is opened, it is said that a bright white light is often seen by the participant. Didn’t Paul see the exact same thing, Christ as a bright white light, as he was knocked off his horse on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:3)?
As we continue with how God speaks to Moses from between the mercy seat in Numbers, we read:
“And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him (the LORD), he heard a voice of one speaking to him from off the mercy seat…And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying…when thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick (Numbers 7:89-8:2).
It should be obvious that the seven lamps represent the seven chakras that cosmic energy must flow through in order to experience enlightenment.
How does this knowledge help us?
As you read more the scripture, continue to look at how each character and symbol represents us. The Ark of the Covenant has always supposed to be symbolic of the human brain. The brain is not just a physical feature. Not only does it act as a receiver and transceiver of God’s consciousness, but the brain houses some very special glands that serve as gateways between the physical and spiritual worlds. If Buddha was right when he said that “All is mind,” then it is truly through the mind that we gain higher awareness and operate on a higher plane of consciousness.
Think about what the literal Ten Commandments were truly needed for. They are needed for the man who is controlled by the ego. The ego needs to be kept in check, and thus the commandments serve that function until Christ (Christ consciousness) comes!
Not many people know that the Ten Commandments came from chapter 125 in the Egyptian Book of the Dead. That was written centuries before the Torah. The Ark of the Covenant also came from Egypt. Found within the king’s chamber of the Great Pyramid was one furniture piece—a box with the same dimensions as the Ark of the Covenant as it is described in the Bible! Israel, or Isis, Ra, and Elohim also come from the name of Egyptian Gods. My point is that believing the scriptures are meant to be literal is not what’s important. It’s the hidden spiritual meanings within them that matter! Never stop digging and questioning.
Mainstream Christianity has misunderstood all of this imagery for centuries. One cannot worship God in spirit and in truth by worshiping something “out there.” All truth is contained within you. Mainstream Christianity has taught us that by “believing” the literal Gospel this entire spiritual process is assured to us by Christ. But what they fail to realize is that Christ is to be formed in you! It is not about believing a literal story. This brings no rising of consciousness.
Yes , it is very truth , that’s the true Ark of the Covenant rests atop your shoulders . The skull is the ark .. the ark contain the law on two stone tablets ( the brain ) . Two Cherubim’s faced each other on top ,in that case could be a Crown Chakra . (The Crown Chakra is the seat of cosmic consciousness and connects us to Divine intelligence and Divine grace . )
Think about this , the Ark is the body .. on the top , two Cherubim’s faced each other is the head .. the face … The faces ( the heads ) of the Cherubim’s are the eyes

You have the concept, but you are wrong to say these things are not literal objects and literal places. The ark and Eden have esoteric meanings, but they are still very real. The bible tells us Eden was placed in the middle of 4 great rivers which are still flowing today!!

The rivers are allegorical too. Just because they exist is no proof. Life is an allegory and the Mind is a hologram of brain. What you see literally is a projection of mind. The second river is symbolic of knowledge. How would reading the Bible literally help one inwardly? So… cast your net on right side of ship and catch 153 (1+5+3=9, high consciousness) 🙂 <3

I wanted to draw your attention to passages in Galatians Chapter 4, Verses 22-31 that speaks of allegory in the Old Testament.
22 “For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.”
Do you see where is says “of which things are an allegory?” I believe “things” is representative of stories like those found in the Old Testament.

Thanks for the comment. But you have to realize something. To read the scriptures and form a doctrine from them IS carnal thinking. Paul said the letter of the law (reading the law literally) killeth (the spiritual intent). What you are accusing me of is exactly what you could be doing. Think about it.
The Ark of the Covenant resembles the Ark of the mind, which is not physical. It is a type and shadow of Christ as in the sense that Christ is resurrected in your mind. Paul says be transformed by the renewing of your MIND. Paul also said that that spiritual Rock was Christ. This is allegory.

This would explain a misunderstanding in their part. They also read things as literal and don’t see the symbolism. They would believe that literally consuming someone’s body gives them power, and miss the spiritual symbolism like most people do.
There’s one more level, taking us beyond the mind and into the heart.
I’m not at all saying that the Ark isn’t the brain, or denouncing the point of the article. I just thought it is interesting that back in the 80s some people at a major university (MIT possibly?) built an Ark based on the materials and dimensions listed in the bible. It began to accumulate static electric charge and wouldn’t stop. The charge began to arc out to any nearby metal in the lab. They couldn’t stop it and it became dangerous. They were forced to smash it with non condictive objects and destroy it in order to stop the electrical arcing. This sounds similar to the stories surrounding the Ark is it was carried around. It is possible fior this article to be true, and a physical Ark to have existed (and still exist if the stories are true).

The answer is never black and white. Let me give you an example. In the great Pyramid at Giza there is a sarcophagus in the King’s Chamber which some say match the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant. Is this true? If it is, then yes, it is based off something that we have is tangible and literal.
I say it is true. Many will deny and say the dimensions do not match because the cubit length changed over time and with societies and any close resemblance is a coincidence, therefore there is nothing connecting the two. I’ll show you where they are wrong.
Isaiah 19:19. The monument mentioned is that Pyramid. The Great Pyramid at Giza is on the border and midst of Egypt because Egypt was once divided into upper and lower Egypt, and therefore the pyramid is on the border of ancient upper Egypt and lower Egypt, and in the “midst” of that land. Christ is also head of the corner and the capstone, which can only fit a pyramid.
It’s all symbolic of course and the builder of the pyramid understood the same spiritual symbolism as the New Testament writer. Notice how Isaiah says “In that day” it will be that monument. Why not then? Because that pyramid is missing the capstone. In other words, the symbol is not yet complete, which exhibits the fact that until Christ is resurrected in the individual, the capstone remains missing.
So anyone who says there is no correlation “symbolically” between the Biblical writings and the spiritual symbolism in ancient Egypt is sorely mistaken.
The symbolism simply means, it’s all IN man.
As ancient Egypt’s political-religious system was centered around higher spiritual truths (Upper Egypt – Higher Ego, Higher nature – Lower Egypt – lower man, lower nature ) so is the symbolism in the Bible.
The pyramid is in the midst of the land (land is the arena of life the soul journeys in), because the pyramid is symbolic of man’s entire soul structure. A pyramid has four sides (lower nature – physical, etheric, astral-emotional – mental) and a higher soul (higher intellect, spiritual, and unity nature). This higher aspect is represented by the capstone, which is missing, because “that day” has not come yet for most of humanity.
Can the critics argue a valid point when they same the dimensions did change over time? Of course! Could they be literally correct? Of course, but they miss the entire spiritual point. They both represent the same thing spiritually, a part of man. The brain is the physical expression of spirit on the mental plane and through the mental body. It is limited because spirit is expressing itself in a medium that is restricted to physicality. But the physical brain has the “potential” to express so much more when the mind is transformed as St. Paul discusses, through inner spiritual revelation.
So in the end, does it matter if there is a literal physical ark? That depends on you’re interests in history and ancient artifacts. And even I think it would be cool to know. But wouldn’t you rather have the knowledge of what is symbolically represents? If you have this understanding, then the fact that the ark may or may not exist doesn’t really seem that important anymore to many.
If what they did at MIT is true, it would certainly show that just as in the brain, there is much electrical activity, and would point to a deeper revelation between spirit and matter. And yes, that would be highly fascinating, but in the end, I would be more concerned with what all this info tells us about the potential of higher consciousness in US!

To me the Sphenoid Face bone is the ark of the covenant where you come face to face with God. It fits perfectly with the one greater wing touching one side and the other touching the other wall of the Temple the King-dome, Calvary which means skull. 1st Kings 6:27. The Sphenoid also has 8 openings for the cranial nerves to pass through called For-A-MEN. At the back of the bone is a small place where the Pituitary gland which carries 8 hormones is seated and along with the 2 Pineal glands hormones make a total of 10,- the 10 commandments given to the rest of the body to give life. The place where the Positive and negative life Chi force come together. The Hebrew word Pinuel means face of God. Also if you read Isaiah 11:1-3 and compare the rod of Jesse from which comes the Stem and a branch you will see the spineal rod, the brain stem, and the the branch of 12 Cranial nerves from which comes the 7 Spirits of the lamp stand in the temple, Jesus said I am the true vine and you are the branches. Christians must retrain the brain in order to see and hear and understand what the Mystery of the gospel is and where the kingdom of God is located. Mark 4:11 7 Luke 17:20-21 Gods reign is in the brain where the river of living water is located and where it is produced. The 4 ventricles are the 4 rivers of Eden which produces Cerebrospinal Fluid which is called the pure clear crystal living water in Revelation 22:1-5 and many time in Isaiah the water of life. The Christ vibration swims in the pure water of the brain and spinal nerve system. As you begin to study Neurotheology and the Psychology of man the Bible will become very clear. The bible is a manual of the Emmanuel and how the Christ consciousness takes place within by Grace through Faith alone. Excellent description. Our own cells are the first to react to wrongs we’ve done – providing that we are sound and whole (holy). The bible seems to be a combination of things and depending on certain situations as i’ve found literal meaning as well.

This has been on my mind for a week so I searched it and found you. The veil of the ark can only be entered by the high priest – which would be Jesus Christ. Satan knows this and will try to breach this veil!

Jesus Christ is a historical figure, the most famous and most influential of all, and He is God, not your inner man, my friend. You should take more note on the very stern standards that God holds man to and also understand that you are incapable of ever attaining the purity required in order to ascend into that higher conscious you guys are so fond of talking about. The kabbala is evil for it rejects the Son of God, who offers you salvation from you carnal fleshly defiled self due to the agreements you make with demons, for that is what the kabbala is. Adam and Eve were provided with knowledge when they were not mature enough to excercise the wisdom of God in order to reject evil while knowing what it is. Just so, you can choose to reject false wisdom and to rely entirely on God with meekness of heart and mind.
The only way you will be set free from the snare of deception and enslavement is by believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Since the kabbala is a jewish innovation, in defiance of their God, the reason why they were destroyed, you should also be aware of the rituals they were taught in order to train them to recognise the day of their visistation by their Messiah. There is no other way. Like it or not.
It is not a far reach to believe that we are designed in resemblance to any of these parallels/similarities. In fact, it is accurate and biblical to say we are created in the image of God. But to say that what is inside us is the actual and outside of us is the typology is ludicrous because it alone is not God. So, while i agree with you on how beautifully and wonderfully we are made spiritually, physiologically, and physically – I don’t agree that it starts within us. It starts with an outside self-sustaining source of energy whose existence we cannot even begin to fathom. If anything, you can take every assessment you have made and apply it to the external earth and you would be equally amazed. I would begin with something simple like; did you know, that we are made up of 70-80% water just as the earth is? Did you know, that the elements found in us necessary to our functioning are from the earth? From the dust we were made and to the dust we shall return. Also, our melatonin and serotonin are both created in the pineal gland but are externally governed by the greater and lesser lights( day and night). Ultimately, my conclusion is that an external self-sustaining source of energy( a sovereign God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ) is KING and LORD of all. And your theories, observations, and findings – while enlightening and exciting to read about – are still subject to our perfect Creator, “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.”Romans 11:36. SDG.
Additionally, the ten commandments were given to Moses to bring down to Israel. and your assessment of the ten commandments is not far off either in that Romans 2:15, says, “They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them”
Humans were given the law in their hearts. its why other nations, despite not being jewish, were able to develop in civilized a manner despite lacking the law given to Moses for Israel. Israel was ultimately a shadow and type of God’s people who would be, have been, and continue to be saved by the redeeming work of Jesus Christ to include his birth, death, resurrection, and ascension to sit at the right hand of the Father while he makes his enemies(us) a footstool for his feet. If you see this things within us, know that they are merely a shadow of things that will ultimately come to fruition at the time of the Father’s choosing. And then, Romans 14:11
“for it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
